During this program, you will work remotely with the Pathology group, to help develop and implement specialized tissue-based image analysis procedures to support specific questions on target expression and preclinical model development. Working with a mentor to design and develop tissue-based image analysis workflows. Learn and utilize image analysis software to generate and present quantitative data. Manage databases and input information, data, and records. Establish a theoretical understanding of basic lab practices, SOPs, and study protocols in a multidisciplinary lab environment. Basic Qualifications: Amgen requires that all individuals applying for a grad internship at Amgen must meet the following criteria: 18 years or older Graduated with a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university Currently enrolled in an MBA program for an MBA internship OR a Masters program for a Masters internship OR a PharmD program for a PharmD internship OR Ph.D. for a PhD internship from an accredited college or university and completion of the first year of MBA OR Masters OR Pharm D OR Ph.D. program before the internship starts Enrolled in an accredited college or university following the potential internship Must not be employed at the time the internship starts Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the [ internship Preferred Qualifications: Degree concentration(s): Life Sciences, Biology or related field Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas Strong communication, both written and verbal Attention to detail What You Can Expect of Us As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for your professional and personal growth and well-being.
